I always had a passion for the written word and storytelling as a child, and as I started to think about how I wanted to earn my living in the world, the idea of doing it with words was a goal that I aimed everything towards. I realised that not only did I enjoy this, but I seemed to be good at it.

 

Over the past 18 years I have worked on newspapers,  specialist magazines, international websites, and well-known and loved media brands.

As the ever-changing media landscape has shifted beneath my feet, my work has evolved away from simply journalism and editorial. I have developed my skills as an accomplished photographer, copywriter, and more-rounded marketing content creator.​

I have a specialism and passion for the outdoors, including fishing, camping, and hiking, and I simply love the process of taking an idea into a complete and rewarding story for either editorial readers or customers.​
